Topic: The Oracle

I was always wondering. Were there any segments of The Oracle where he didn't show a certain sign of the zodiac? I've heard rumors around my town that he never did Capricorn.

We'll be back in a moment! Grammar Slammer Bammer!

Re: The Oracle

Not sure GrammarSlammerBammer... mind you with all the episodes I have been catching of late on Space and TVLand, I have yet to see the Oracle cover Aries either!  Anyone out here able to answer us????

Re: The Oracle

Grammer, I found an episode with the Oracle covering Capricorn!   I am having another night of no sleep, so I am doing the mail thing and watching HHoF on TVLand (I have satalitte) and it is 0430 in the morning right now and lo and behold, the Oracle just did his thing and it was Capricorn.  It is the episode where Igor is trying to go and arrest the cat burgaler (spelling?), Bwanna Clyde was discussing the two different types of macaws (the Blue & Yellow as well as the Hyacinth),Dr. Pet Vet is talking about Spider Monkeys (think that was covered a couple of times) and the Professor is talking about inertia again (after talking about Julius meaning curly haired)and kicking packages (to demonstrate inertia).
Hope this is of some help... I don't have any episode number and didn't find any corresponding on on Ezk's 'Drive In Classic' listing.

Re: The Oracle

Hi. Brand new member. I just received the 3 disc – 9 episode DVD from my friends at Amazon.ca and am re-living old memories! I still have one episode to go, but noticed that Capricorn was covered twice so far by the Oracle. I'd have to go back and get the actual episode names if you want them. And the episode that Eeyore mentioned above wasn't one of them. I've been looking for the Oracle to do Sagittarius, but haven't seen it yet. Let's see, he's covered Virgo, Capricorn twice, Gemini and Aquarius on the DVD set and I have one more episode to watch.

Being 48 years old, I am enjoying HHoF in a whole different way than when I was 11 or 12. If you get a chance, try watching HHoF in the dark while a thunderstorm approaches. I did this last night and it made me stand right up and sing along with the Count and Igor! lol

Welcome to the Castle SharkNose!

I am glad that you have gotten some of the episodes... I will eventually someday, just right now there are bills that need the money more than my HHoF fix!

On another note, I am sitting here very depressed indeed.  Up until this past Wednesday, I have been able to watch 3 solid hours of HHoF in a row - two hours on TVLand through my Sat. Provider (Shaw/StarChoice) and then an hour on Space.  Well no longer... I have been cut to only the hour on Space as Shaw/StarChoice needed to drop  three 'not very popular/suscribed to' regular stations to make room for more HD stations... great on nights like this, when my insomnia is acting up, I live for my old TV Shows and now I can't get some of them! sad
Not only have they dropped TVLand, they also dropped BBC Kids and Discovery Kids.  I know I am 48, but there are really good shows on those stations!

Okay enough complaining, enjoy our group!

Hi, posting for the first time here and loving this dedicated forum!  Grew up with HHOF influence and all things 'horror' as an adult afterwards.  wink

To answer your question, the Oracle covers the Aries horrorscope in length in Volume 1, disc 1 where the Wolfman spins Gypsy Woman.  Being an Aries, I had my eye out for this one too.
