Topic: Frightenstein off air

Hi Everyone

This is William Alexander President of CRiTiCAL MASS. The broadcast rights to Frightenstein will end in Canada on Dec 31 2009 and it will not be seen until another broadcaster picks up the broadcast rights. I have been doing everything in my power to get the show back on air beyond the Dec 31, 2009 end date but to no avail.

So I turning to you the fans to see if you can help spark interest in the stations by contacting them to show your support for the show and encourage them to pick up the broadcast rights. Right now many of the stations feel the show as no place on TV anymore has it does not have the appeal it once had. please help to prove them wrong. It is your voice and the voices of the others on the site that might change their minds. I have done what I can so now it is up to you if you still want to see Frightenstein back on the air beyond Dec 31st.

Stations you can direct e-mails to are:

CHCH -TV (where it all started)    feedback@chchnews.ca
Teletoon Retro                          info@teletoon.com
CBC ( go to their contact page to fill out and send located at)    www.cbc.ca/contact/
CTV (Specialty stations Space, TV LAnd, MTV)                           programming@ctv.ca
Corus (YTV and the new owners of Drive In Classics )                 info@ytv.com

I gone about as far as I can So I leave it up to you. I hope that you will help keep one of the greatest local Canadian shows on Canadian TV
Also remember that the fans of the show are many from Jim Carrey and Mike Myers to Strombo to John Derringer and Kevin Frankish so you are now alone.

And Thank you for your support thru the years.
William Alexander

Re: Frightenstein off air

This isnt part of the plan i had in mind, omg!
first Joe Torbay passes (R.I.P.), & now this?!

i see new people on here constantly, praising/saying they've just remember/googled/saw it on tv/etc
interest seems to be climbing, dvd sales, personality discs, local atrists doing the covers, fridge magnets..
we need to do something fellow frighten-steiners!

William has done us all a huge favour by bringing this show back from limbo, (thank you sir)
let's all return the favour by emailing that Brucie Lives!

"..and to never rest until Brucie lives once more!.."

Re: Frightenstein off air

Does someone know if any stations have picked this up? I am beginning to panic!
