Re: Episode / Song Listings

hi ezk, I know for a fact ep 37 is not Jimmy Mack, it's the Crazy Elephant - Gimme Gimme Good Lovin. ep 37 is on the last dvd release

Re: Episode / Song Listings

ya, that info came from the drive-in channel edited versions, seems they re-used some of the wolfman segments.

i just copied this list from the old forum, we'll need to re-check them all.

Re: Episode / Song Listings

I wonder if we'll ever find out what those other songs were.  *sigh*
Can't understand why the original show masteres were ordered destroyed.  Then again, the masters for "You can't do that on television" don't exist anymore either - only the copies that Nickelodeon in the US has are still around.

Re: Episode / Song Listings

I found a Youtube clip with the Wolfman introducing Eyes of a New York Woman, I am guessing this is coming from the episode after Ob Ba di Ob la da. That ep supposedly has 2 wolfman segments in it. The clip also has BJ Thomas singing the tune. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcT8yFY5-zs

Re: Episode / Song Listings

I wish I knew as well what the rest of the wolfman tunes were as well. I guess if there was a time machine that actually worked, I would go back to 1971, find a house to watch frightenstein when it first came on tv, and see episode 1. Kinda like a Back to the Future sort of a deal.  I still think there may be a person out there who taped this show on a beta player or something, who might have some of those missing episodes. Maybe God knows.

Re: Episode / Song Listings

ok,  edited #37, thanks Dawolfman.. smile

i'll go thru my dvds soon and try to get this more complete

Re: Episode / Song Listings

I appreciate all the effort everyone is putting into making the list correct!  I have yet to own any of the series on DVD (the box sets are too rich for my pocket these days) but maybe one of these days!
Thanks again for compiling the list of songs the Wolfman played for all of us, I know it was the only exposure I had to contemporary music for years due to my upbringing, and I loved every moment of it!  Mind you, knowing that Billy Van was a Canuck had a great deal to do with my being able to watch and listen, but I am rambling... not making sense, sort of like my beloved Igor at times!
Thanks again!

Welcome to where the sun won't shine, to the castle of Count Frightenstein!
